I'm a site-weary dating veteran.
TOO often I see, "We have NOTHING in common ..."

You say that "we've got nothing in common
No common ground to start from
And we're falling apart."
You'll say "the world has come between us
Our lives have come between us"
But I know you just don't care.

And I said "what about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film,
And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it."
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got."

I'd rather begin THAT way than with
stomach-corroding coffee, only to
hear, "Nahhhhh ... good luck with
your search."

The next show, to which I'll go,
where you might say hello ...
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull ...
I cannot treat,
unless we meet ...

And as I'm leaving for Crystal Skull in
about an hour ... I guess it'll just be
ONE more I'll see alone.
