Movies can/have had the same effect on me as a book have. in fact, in my opinion, they're books in motion. Its rare, but some movies have out done some books. Its usually the other way around in my experience. Movies can fortify principles or cause one to challenge a limiting belief. Movies can be a healthy distraction, or they can be a escape into fantasy land in an unhealthy way. Regardless and depending on how one uses movies and they paradigm/perception/lens they allow the movie in through, they can carry with them something someone needs to become their highest and most authentic self.
