People ask me what my favorite genre is (in regards to movies). My answer: good ones. I'll pretty much what a movie from any genre, as long as it's good. The opposite is also true. If it's a horrible movie, I'm not going to watch it, regardless of genre. I love old, silent comedies (Buster Keaton and Harold Loyd are awesome!), old musicals, most of Hitchcock's films, oh heck! How am I supposed to name all the types I like?
Some favs: Amadeus, Singin' in the Rain, Strangers on a Train, Sabrina, Rear Window, The Full Monty, Gladiator, Born Yesterday, The Sting, Minority Report, Fahrenheit 451, Lord of the Rings, A Night at the Opera, the list goes on and on...
Movies I don't like: Blade Runner (I know it's a classic, but for some reason, I can't stand it!), Moulen Rouge, 300, Troy, Step Up, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (seriously? that was NOT a werewolf) and pretty much any Elvis movie!
