B-Rate and Behind the Scenes Junkie I don't watch nearly as many films as I used to, but it's still one of my favourite passtimes.

I've taken a number of film-related classes at University, including American Culture through Film, Film Theory, Philosophy in Film, and various Pre- and Post- War German film classes as well. I never really knew how much I cared about films until I took a few of those classes, and it's something I'd really love to explore more.

While I've always had an interest in the film viewing procedure in general, I've recently developed a love of what goes on behind the camera, of shot compositions, framing, lighting, editing, of focal points, sound, and direction. I'd love nothing more than to work on a film set, though I'm be

As for my own taste in movies, well, I love bad movies. No-thought-required action movies, B-rate sci fi and horror, and other low budget or independant films are typically at the top of my list. My all time favourite movie is probably Raiders of the Lost Ark, with the new Dredd coming in at a close second. I love Evil Dead II, the new Star Trek, and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, to name a few.

Ideally I'd like to make some sort of web series, reviews or short films, but I'm currently lacking the funding and time to really set things up. Not to mention the knowledge to back it up, but it should be a fun experience either way, haha.
