Cinemaphile looking for friends My obsession with movies began when saw The Fly starring Vincent Price on AMC one Halloween... and ever since I have wanted to be a director. I'm particularly fond of old movies, in the 1940s-1960s bracket, especially musicals, film noir, and of course monster movies and creature features. But really, my taste in movies is so varied it's hard to really pick one favorite genre- it just depends on my mood.
Favorite movies... this is always the question that makes my brain hurt trying to decide, but here goes... Walt Disney's "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" has been one of my favorites for as long as I can remember, "Ed Wood", "A Clockwork Orange", "Heathers", "On The Town", "No Country For Old Men", "Sunset Boulevard", "Gaslight", "Gigi", "Benny and Joon"... there are so many more, I just don't want to go on forever.
I'm looking for someone who shares my passion for old movies (none of my friends know who Jimmy Stewart is) and can geek out with me for hours. There's really only one thing my ideal man must have: passion. If you care about something- care about it, darn it!
