The death of donald kaufman Hey, I've been getting into antiplots lately. I really like hyper realism. Unfortunately, hyper realist antiplots don't really exist as movies. Anyway, I see pretty much every rated R movie that comes out no matter how stupid it looks: I'll watch the first half-hour of any movie. My favorite documentaries are 'king of kong', 'spellbound', 'anvil', and 'american movie'(of course). I'm not going to use quotation marks for the list of my favorite movies--scott pilgrim, nick and nora, youth in revolt, superbad, (micheal sera section), juno, and only like the deleted scenes from paper heart. Next section--eternal sunshine, adaptation, synecdoche, the godfather (only the first one), the scorsese movie in new york stories (can't remember the title) leaving las vegas, miller's crossing, big lebowski, serious man, man who wasn't there (that's it for the bro's--no country was nowhere near as good as the book). Next, elephant, good will hunting, last days. Celebrity, Manhattan, crimes and misdemeanors. Red belt, heist. Funny games. Limitless. Winter's Bone. Blue Valentine. The damned united. In the loop. The first and second movies in the read riding trilogy (not as into the third). American Beauty (obvious choice). the baxter. Leon the professional. Tombstone. (here we go) true romance, from dusk till dawn, pulp fiction, kill bill (only volume one), inglorious bastards. Charlie wilson's war, the social network. Spinal Tap, When Harry met sally, the princess bride. Old school, anchorman. Rounders, boiler room. New york i love you (but not paris je t'ame). 3 iron (but not oldboy or the vengeance movies).
