The Greatest Romantic Movie Ever

In my mind, Casablanca is the best movie ever, and is also the most romantic. Here we have the bittersweet reunion of two lovers during WWII. A reunion that is stymied by the fact that the woman is married to another man, a hero of the French Resistance, whom she loves and admires. But, the chemistry and longing still strongly exist between our two lovers. In the end, the man gives up his great love for a higher cause, letting the woman go with ehr husband, even though it is obviously breaking both of them's hearts. How much more romantic could it get? Anyone else got an opinion or a favorite?

`Harold & Maude is really GREAT! but it is kind of greepy lol. I don't know about the best romantic movie but I know that when I think romance I think of Shakespeare of Love.

`For me the greatest romantic movie ever is the 1945 original full length,black & white "THE ENCHANGED COTTAGE" with Robert Young & Dorothy McGuire. I guarantee both men and women will enjoy it.
