he fathered children.

Terms of Endearment (1983)

his supporting part as a baseball catcher dying of Hodgkin's Disease
caught MY eye (survived a 1981 bout with MOPP chemotherapy,

Mean Streets (1973)
47. Taxi Driver (1976)
New York, New York (1977)

68. An American In Paris (1951)

other notables include

Xanadu (1980) .... Danny McGuire was his final film-dancing part.
Inherit the Wind (1960) - Though the stars are Spencer Tracy and
Frederic March, Gene's turn as newsman E. K. Hornbeck sardonicly
It's Always Fair Weather (1955) - Undersung, and as good as
Singin' In The Rain. Fabulous dance sequences including the three
buddies tap-dancing down New York streets wearing each, an ashcan
cover AND Gene's street-dance ON ROLLER SKATES.

(2001) TV Series .... Max Bickford ... who
for my money, is just the second incarnation of Glenn Holland ...

for the work of Jack Kervorkian.
The Goodbye Girl (1977) - His Oscar win
Inserts (1975) - During the same year as Jaws, this litte-known X-rated
film is nevertheless a HOOT!

Tom Hanks & Spencer Tracy are the ONLY two actors ever to win

Forrest Gump (1994)

other notables include
